Things we learn from a movie, or a song... About dreams and fears

Today I want talk about Dreams. Sometimes when you hear, You've got to dream, think BIG! and some, really, most of us don't even know where to start or even have a fear of it. We think less of ourselves, we don't think we deserve to live our dreams (voices: What about all the children without food in Africa when you treat yourself to a $2000 dollars handbag) Yes, that voice too... Any kind of thoughts that don't support us, and we feel Terrified. Dreams, and then terrified, and then doubt and then the whole process go on and on and on for years, that's why people don't change or afraid to anything different in their lives.

I do take my hat off to individuals who have had the same routine for the past 30 years and stays happy, but when you sit down alone, and reflect, Can we have something more? Is it possible? Like this new quote I love, "I don't need easy, I just need possible" Would you have tried more than once to change or do something different if given a chance, platform , opportunity to do so? Who knows. My mum has been at her job for 30 years, and I really salute her, and because I know her personally, she does enjoy her work, and in fact very good at what she does. I don't think someone like her would regret, but it's what she does in her next 50 years in life, don't you think? Where she want to be? What she wants to do? Contribute back? Or her dreams she has kept, and best part if she could live it through her children?

If I have to two message for people my age and parents. Below would be it.

I'm thankful that I chose a less travelled road, followed my dreams, found another calling along the way. I'm thankful my parents gave me a chance although it wasn't easy to make them understand in the beginning. But they were my pillars when others look at me in disbelief. I thank people who are sceptic, because you're my fuel and motivation to do better in life.

For Young Adults: Live your dream. Even if you make mistakes. Even if you live the pain of discipline. It's better then living the pain of regrets when you're 65 and look back in your life and go "There's so many things I couldn't do!'

For Parents: Let your children find their dream and live it. Even if they make mistakes, feel bad about it, come back to you, and all you can do is tell them, "Stand right back. You'll be alright!"

I love movies. Just recently watched Tangled (A Rapunzel movie which I taught would be something like a normal Disney Hero saves girl movie) But it's more than that, it's about dreams, and fears and can be summed in the quote from the movie as below:

Rapunzel: I've been looking out of a window for eighteen years, dreaming about what I might feel like when those lights rise in the sky. What if it's not everything I dreamed it would be?
Flynn Rider: It will be.
Rapunzel: And what if it is? What do I do then?
Flynn Rider: Well, that's the good part I guess. You get to go find a new dream.

It's so powerful. Yes, what if what you're doing now and going after now, is something that is below your expectations? And so what if it really is what you dream of? What do you do... BEST PART: You get to go find a new dream! :) Wow...

In terms of business and coaching that I do now, I find some people amusing really. What do they want? What do they don't want? Do they even know they live in the present? Or just because something didn't happen to them, they're caught in a limbo of fantasy, the life that they always wanted, living in the illusion is okay? Call it submission to parents wishes, peer pressure, how the society view what's normal and what's not....

I just pray everyday for better strength and wisdom, to be able to see through my emotions, and distractions, and stay focus on living life at present. Being thankful what I have today, and in pursuit of finer things in life. :)

And may I suggest, to start writing down, in images if possible what you want in life. What you focus on increases. Not everything is money, but a lot of things is less worry if you have enough to have and to give. Health, Wealth, and everything in balance.

#Gratitude

1) Complaints.
2) Things are not going well.
3) It's a great momentum but you feel left out.

Simple, but what is simple, is also profound.

Chairman's Club is a position in the Herbalife, that is being created for individuals that has lived the Herbalife way, breathe, and duplicated to others. Most has been in the business for 15 years or more. We have about 50 of them. And I recommend everybody to read, to learn and grab every opportunity to be near a leader.

This is something I learned from Chairman's Club Queenie Leung is Self Leadership and Managing Your State.

Embrace your emotions. From Chairman's Club Stephan Gratziani and recalled by Chairman's Club Bea Bos, stay in your prime.

Use the products. Wear the button. Talk to People. Work twice as hard, triple if times are hard or just getting started. Don't worry, be in peace with yourself. Do the basics. Persistency and Consistency.

3 years ago, back in 2009, I was a new person in Herbalife, and I had a lot of questions, I was curious enough to find out, and blessed to learn with so many leaders from all over the world. I demanded myself to qualify for events to learn from the best. In the eyes of many, I spent more than I earned, but I knew I was investing in my future. It did paid off, the more basic things you do, the more trainings and events you go to, you're strengthening your core. When times are challenging, you stay strong in foundation.

Methods come and go, it revolves, people you meet they come and some left, Those who stay with you grow together with you, and the reward of seeing people grow from nothing, to something, really gives you something that money cannot buy. We're just getting started, my sponsor and coach always said that. I had that rebel attitude, in my mind, "So much money, is it not enough?" Of course, the one making the money wasn't me, so obviously that came from my bad attitude at the time.

It's a different story now. Jim Rohn always said "Success is not attracted, not pursued. It's through the person you become,". And in Herbalife it's very true.  Nobody really earns a good cheque and growing and has bad attitude, you see none. Different personalities, yes. But all of them have one common factor, a lot of GRATITUDE.

If you find yourself having a lack of abundance, or not growing in business, check your gratitude list. Are you saying thank you enough? Do you feel appreciation for the things and the opportunities given to you? Are you thankful to have challenges?

I'm not saying we don't get stuck at times. That's why Queenie said "MANAGE YOUR STATE". Be aware, and remind yourself to be thankful at all times. Good times and Bad. It's ok to feel overwhelmed, just remember to manage it.

Cheque over Ego. Which one do you one? Sickness over Small Discipline of Healthy Lifestyle, Which one you'll choose?
